Ok, firstly what's ya vehicle? Askin that as mounting spot will change between vehicles.

Where do you think you'd like to mount said items?

Google images of ideas and found anything ya like?

What driving ya do? This is a relevant question as beach/mud driving will need easy accessibility whereas someone who drives rocks, maybe not so essential for quick access.

If you go with a mount like this watch it dosn't stick up above the roof line - not so good for overgrown bush tracks. Sideways is better if you can find a place. Mine's inside and thats a problem as well if your jammed on a bank and can't open the door or the doors under the tide and you don't want to open it.
