I went in from the top, removed p/s reservoir & bracket from the body & pushed hoses aside to get access.

Like anything, long and short sockets, a variety of extentions, ring spanners also a variety of crows foot, plus some extra skin for your knuckles...

Get a body lift, out and in 1/2 hour
On a serious note, prick of a job. I find the best way to get at bottom bolt is to come up from under with a few long extensions and a uj. There is a sweet spot over front diff and under the engine mount.

Best of luck.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Get creative with extensions and swivel joints, and spanners. After starter unbolted, tie a bit of rope to it, use rope to lift it up out the gap next to brake booster/inlet manifold. Take note of the way it comes out, lower it back the same way. If you think its bad, try a v6 terrano

See that little hole in the back of the valley? thats where it sits and the 2 bolts that hold it in come from the firewall side

I took the front right wheel off and went there.
Wasn't too bad at all really - well compared to say a P10 Primera where it's on the LHS of the car and the only way to reach it is to remove the RHS wheel and you have to do the whole job with only one hand and you can't even see it.
