Wow I ask a lot of questions, here's another though....

Post by Gren »

Wild I am working out all the niggly little things , like no reverse lights ec I am also ups killing myself with the ways of the injector pump/ turbo boost ways.

Anywhoo can anyone tell me at what pressure the relief valve? On the intake manifold releases? Also does it just dump all the boost or is a linear type deal where it will just hold boost to the spring pressure?

Cheers.......again

reverse light switch on top of the box behind the engine on a manual box
have no clue on what boost a factory turbo runs at, but the one i drove felt like up to 12lbs to 15 before relief valve opened.

they will be on the right hand side of the engine bay next to the fuse box. from memory there are possibly up to three plugs (4pin and 6 pin) one brown two grey, if it was orignally an auto. If it was a factory manual it may only have one plug.

Mine was 12psi - as are any of the others that I have read about. It seems to hold pressure at 12 when it releases.

Success!
Green/white wire loops via the reverse switch on top of the manual gbox to the Green/brown wire in the larger grey plug that was disused since the auto was removed and manual installed
Attachments
The large grey plug has the green/white wire and green/brown wire which loop via the reverse switch
