I have just brought a set up from a guy off trademe but will have to go get it on weekend he recons will be everything I need right down to the bolts, is there any thing I should know or any tricks to the job as I will be doing my self in my shed on jack stands. Yes sliver top aftermarket turbo 05 with pwr water to air, 3inch exhaust turbo to back no muffler, not running boost fuel pump tho just cranked the fuel!
Y do I have to change drive shafts and do I do both of the??

Wiring is pretty much all plugs all the wiring you need for the transfer box is connected into the trucks loom it has got the 4wd light and the reversing lights on it the reversing sender is on top of the gearbox usually you can just plug into it, the autos wiring loom unplugs up by the battery note there is one with heaver wires on it that will need to be connected together so you can start the truck I just made crimped a couple of female connecters to a short bit of wire it does the trick, drive shafts are the same as whats in the truck.

Cut wires next to the inhibitor switch on side of auto then took green and black to the reverse switch of manual box and joined the two very larger wires now lights work and can start truck very easy to do! Will take computer out tomorrow see if any thing happens and might try and find where the reverse beeper is as still works

I changed my VX to a manual from an auto, did it in a weekend it was a mission. had to modify the gearbox cross member because the holes in the chassis for the man' box had no nuts inside. Cut the floor out and fit the floor out of the manual donor VX change both drive shafts change the wire loom. The clutch master cyl would'nt fit the firewall
properly. Not an easy change on the cruiser.
