lj/kzj71 wiring diagram needed

hi guys .am on the hunt for a wiring diagram ,mainly for the loom that feeds the gearbox/transfer.have tried google and ih8mud but got lost .If any one has access to one or a copy that would be awesome cheers sig

Will have to wait until I finish work and view it...
There is a lj70 manual kicking around on the net which should have the wiring diagrams in it...(thats the one I have)
What exactly do you need to know???

am in the final stage of putting my LS1 into my prado but some of the wiring loom is missing ( gearbox loom ).the plug on the firewall is still there.I am trying to mate up the 4wd,low,high,reverse,temp sender,oil pressure sender etc wires and a diagram would save me hours off testing ( not to mention fuses,so i am finding out )cheers sig

Searched this up, Can anyone help me with wiring diagram for the auto ect from the lj71 prado, after tps sensor and a few others from it. Cheers Leigh

Have you got the 2LTE ?
You may need to cast the net a bit wider and look at the other 2LTE engine vehicles...Running the A340 auto...
Toyota uses the same philosophy across the range...
The engine manual will also have the pinouts for the sensors...
And you can look at yours and trace the wires back....

Look for the wiring for a 2.4 surf. There is heaps of info about them as it will be the same setup as what you have.

surfs don't have a separate ect computer they are all controlled in the ecu computer correct me if im wrong, I cant see how a surf wiring diagram will help me but I will have a lookse thanks

I don't think the LJ71 has a separate ECU for the auto...What engine is it running?

Must put that in the memory bank.... Not many have separate TCU's... I know the older crown does...

It may be for the front diff and transfer case to engage 4wd.

That diagram shows its for the KZJ* too, in the KZJ it controls the 4wd system, so I would guess its the same for the surf.
