If I was to do it all again I wouldnt cut the chassis, keep it the 99" wheel base it is. Will make for adding the rear cross member on a lot easier. You also get the optimum hill climb chassis length.
Get a 3.9 efi rover v8 and bolt it straight in. just to much fun !!! put an extra set of shocks around it because you are going to want to hit stuff fast. I just mounted the exact same set of standard shocks around it again.

Interesting project, took me a 2 years I think and then a mad rush at the end by a few peeps on here to get it ready for the oxford mud plug and the following sheffield mud plug where it got 4th, beaten by three zuks
