From the plug at the top of the manual gear box just behind the bellhousing cant miss it. Need to run (2 wires) up by the battery (drivers side) to a group of plugs by fuse box.
There should be a grey 6 wire plug at the bottom of the group.
Its the 2 fatter wires you want off that only to with copper cores on the plug i had.
The inhibitor you just loop the 2 wires over at the plug also next to the battery close to the reverse light switch is a big fat plug.
If you dont have the plugs to fit go to pick a part or something an rob some off any nissans or any car for that matter as long as the plugs fit

Re: remove?? auto box computer when now manual
Yup you can rig it up tidy or rangi it all works. Last time I did a maunal conversion I happened to have a spare auto loom laying around so just attaced them to the manual loom on the right wires and plug into the original auto connectors in the car.
Not sure about the safari but nissan manuals often have a neutral switch in them, you can wire this to the inhibit circuit if you like so everything works as it should. If you get really keen you can take the cover off the instruments and carefully tape over the PNRD12 lights too if your that fussy. You would probably have found with the auto ecu still in place that the OD light flashed constantly too since it couldnt find a gearbox to talk too
