hi guys, wanting to run an oil and temp aftermarket gauge plus still having factory ones going aswell. question is where to buy the ts from so both sender units can be attached. have tried repco and supercheap but they dont do them.

If you can take both out and somehow still get into town, strange as it sounds try your local auto sparky. When I did mine in my old safari they had a whole heap of VDO branded gauge adapters and T's. I had one that had the nissan tapered thread male one end, female the other, and a standard i think 1/8th NPT female in the middle. So you could screw the adapter into the block, put you original sensor back in the end, and attach your hose or aftermarket sensor in the middle.

it depends on what you want to pay. I haven't really found anyone who does brass fittings cheap but CTS on waterloo road.

cheers guys. my local pipeline had brass ts in stock. my next question is best location for water temp sensor.have googled various sites to find where temp sensor is but to no avail. did read on ih8 mud site is a lot tap into the alloy elbow just under the power steer resorvoir. is this a good idea and will it be accurate.
