whos the people to see regarding getting the engine mounted?
in the south island, i just want the engine mounts done, ill do the rest

Any engineering place/automotive workshop would be able to do it as it's piss easy just cut the old ones off move back a few mm on each side and weld them on again. Also just make sure
that whoever does the welding is a certified welder and get proof.
Otherwise you might run into problems when you go to get it certed, thats if
it's going to be used on the road.

Dont worry about the certified welder bit mate, competent and to a tradesman like standard comes to mind. Long story short is anyone can do it as long as they do a good job.

That's what I thought until I did them myself to a good standard
then took it for cert and they wouldn't have a bar of it unless I could
prove the person who did them was qualified. Very big hassle and alot of running around to finally get them to pass it. Went back to the cert guy 3 times, but I guess just like anything it all depends who you are dealing with,no doubt some cert guy's are alot more lenient and willing to turn a blind eye than others.
