Sometimes doing stuff the hard part is starting, break down the task into parts,do measure up first , sit down draw up what you need, buy the ply, ect,
Still have a steel drum to make,
new front protection on the saf,
engine stand to Finnish ,
old 4.2 to hang on it and rebuild that,

here a drawing off a aussie site
Image

A 505mm Base Plate width
B 970mm Base Plate depth. Note the "?" it means the base plate
contours the wheel arch
C 435mm Height of front plate of side pod
D 160mm Height the side pod rises above the top plate of the drawer.
E 340mm Width of the top plate of the drawer
F 165mm Width of the side pod
G 180mm Width of the side pod (note slightly different from F) Also
note side of this panel is no staright. Plastic molds on wall of car
means it contours a fair bit eventually also going over the wheel
arch.
H 420mm Max distance drawer should be from left door opening edge
J 320mm width of drawer
K 220mm height of both drawers, handles then cut. Handles need to
be cut because unit fits flush with rear of car so protruding
handles can’t be fitted.
L 270mm height of both drawer units form top to bottom edges
M 165mm width of lid
N 930mm length of lid
O 180mm width of lid
P 195mm centre width of lid to sit just below window sill on the body.
The rest of the lid rests on batterns fitted to the inside of the pod.
That way nothing is attached to the side of the car itself.

Right hand side Drawer:

Q 650mm width of right drawer
R This distance can be shortened depending if you have rear aircon
unit or not. I do so the drawer unit needs to stop here. This allows
for S.
S 60mm Space for rear AC to ventilate through its duct panel
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered
