4x4 clubs southland

Hi everyone
Is there any 4x4 clubs based in Invercargill?
I'm not into "mud plugging etc" but keen to do day trips on the weekends etc
My Cherokee is fairly standard, but slowly adding to it!
I've been out to Mavora lakes (fantastic place) Keen to see more of Southland/Otago

Theres also the trailblazers club around here aswell.

If your keen for weekend fun days, theres quite often some around fundraising for the scouts etc up here. (gore)

Southland Land Rover Club is based in Invers. We do all sorts of runs, from easy stuff like into Mavora to overnight camping trips to more challenging stuff. Not many Land Rovers in the club, any 4WD is welcome, even Jeeps!

Yesterday I replaced the jeep with a Hilux D/cab, I'm pretty sure it will go where ever I point the nose!

The Land Rover Club are having a new members/practice day at the club grounds at Sandy Point tomorrow morning [18/5/13]. Call out and have a chat and a bit of a play. The grounds are on the Beach Road, just past the Cabbage Tree Restaurant, there will be a sign at the gate.
