Cheers!
Just got a Canon 550d with an interval remote (best accessory i've bought for it!)
Used the Windows Movie Maker software, does the trick, but going to see what else there is out there too

Neat man. Be good for around a wheelin camp as people get up, get ready and get gone. Heh heh.
I got a gopro hero 3 for a similar thing, time lapse, but in the opposite way. To go all matrix styles in a vid. Let us know how you go with the editing software. Always keen to learn. I've found a few to use that were easy too but only ventured as far as demo packs till I have gotten more substantial higher grade video.

Re: First Timelapse Attempt
Great one Frazer nothing wrong with that timelapse, I need to get off my arse and get more footage with my GoPro 3 as well and do some timelapse stuff too.
If you want to use Adobe Premier Pro 6 I have a version you can use, it is the top of the line for editing software.
Cheers.

I did one for my shave and wax a few months ago, its always interesting seeing people move around in timelapse.

Re: First Timelapse Attempt
Cheers all!
Yea i've always wanted to get in to timelapsing, finally got around to getting the interval remote etc.
Going to try take a few more in the coming weeks to experiment then i'll get some proper software me thinks!
Got this cheap wide angle/fish eye lens that screws on to my normal lens... might use that next time and see what the results are!
Would love to get the tide coming in over a couple of hours...

Good looking footage!
Another software option could be finalcut pro, it's a little easier to use than premier (but just as in depth) and gives you easy options to do things like lifting the levels of your foreground exposure and balance the scene nicely. Also some good colour grading options too.
