Hey there, bit of a newbie here. Had a D22 4wd 3.0 Navara for a work vehicle previously - but being a work vehicle couldn't really do too much hard core off roading (well, depends who you talk to!!).
About six months ago I got my first decent 4wd of my own, a 1990 80 series VX 'cruiser.
Its nothing too extraordinary or highly modified but suits me fine as my daily driver and weekend toy. It has all Old Man Emu springs, shocks, sway bars etc , Aftermarket bar with 12,000lb winch, and 33" Maxxis Bighorns. I picked it up for a steal at only $6k - although she looked pretty rough at a glance ( it had typical Toyota sunburn), a quick $500 repaint over Xmas (thanks Chook) has her looking respectable again.
I have a few minor mods planned - Some Slider/Steps and a decent roof rack (found out Fletchers can supply oval shaped tube to cut wind noise down)
Hope to meet some of you out on the tracks over the winter!!
Cheers
Ryan
PS If anyone knows the whereabouts of a drivers A pillar grab handle give us a shout, ta!!

Very much doubt its the same guy then - this guy is pretty straight up. But f^&en ratshit what happened to you, will hit him up and see if it was him but really don't think so.
Re: Hi there from Hastings
The details i have for him are:
Cole Blair Grant
Use to live down ferguson street, maybe mid 20's, use to work in the panel and repair industry, use to work at Kiwi Klan rallying.
Car i sold him was a black suby RS and sorted him a gearbox and 2 turbos as spares. Lost contact after a million excuses but il never forget and 1 day i will see him...
even if you know where he works?
cheers
