Hi Guys
I have a Suzuki Escudo (my first car) which I have had for about 5 years now. I would like to get it a bit better set up for general off road use and light club runs.
I am looking at getting a lift kit and then fitting some 30" mud tyres.
Has anyone got one of the 3" FTS lift kits on their Suzuki? If so, what do you think of it?

Thanks!
Starting with a Lift Kit
Re: Starting with a Lift Kit
I've got most of the bits from one. No issues with it. The nz agent seems fine. Calmini control arms or 4xfourart are the best fix for the camber though.

If you are looking at club runs, perhaps start with recovery points, some recovery gear and mud tyres. If you don't have them already?
Post a photo of your zuk. I am sure we can suggest a few other things too...

As already said, first things first. Towhooks, front and rear, basic recovery & safety gear. THEN:.....
I'd suggest you leave those flash alloys alone for road use and get yourself a set of 15" steelies and mud tires for offroading.
Ditch the flimsy side rails and get some decent sill-protectors made up.
Read the awesome thread on the budget Vitara lift, it has some neat ideas and priceless info.
Also find the thread on Weemsy's escudo build, and of Pico42's build.
Save $$ like crazy 'cos once you start there's no stopping. It's a disease!!
