1981 HILUX REBUILD

Finished installing radio wires and hidden speakers, so nice to pass time listening to sounds when doing 80k
Fitted spotlights to help the sealed beam headlights as trips tend to take a little longer .
Still need to get antenna to listen to the radio don't know where im going to mount it yet though as im not putting holes in the cab

I knocked the aerial off mine and it just has the cable that goes to the guard, seems to work ok:-)

Hilux has started running a bit rough and down a bit on power so have booked it in for new plugs etc and a good tune, and hopefully its not the head gasket.

thought it was time for an update. the running rough issue was just a blocked jet in the carb.
also have new brake and clutch master cylinders to put in and a rebuild kit for the front diff to try and get rid of some wobble in the front wheels
