Toyota 1kz head / head gasket replacment

Today I pulled out of the drive and rove up the road. Smoke pooring out the back, went around the block and back home after stopping at the gas station to fill the radiator up. Yup radiator emptying and blowing bubbles.

So now ontop of all the other problems the surf either has a blown head gasket or worse, a cracked head - I fear the latter :roll:

So After the LR is finished this week the surf will be rolled into the garage and the head removed. I will post the progress in here. It wont start for another week though. Life is a bitch and then your 4wdless

Sounds like its time for an sas and a 2jz conversion :roll:

i bought everything to do that except the gaskets.... tools included...
