Akatarawa Ramble with CCVC

Post by fullthrottle »

If anyone is interested, the Wellington CCVC are running a trip up through the Aka's on Sunday, 5th May.

Starting at Totara park entrance at 9am
https://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Mccurdys+Road,+Totara+Park,+Upper+Hutt&aq=0&oq=Mccurdys+road,+totara+park&sll=-41.113067,175.08099&sspn=0.004106,0.01119&vpsrc=0&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Mccurdys+Rd,+Totara+Park,+Upper+Hutt+5018&t=m&z=16&iwloc=A

Its a family shinny, so safe for most 4x4's.

Come along, meet some people. Weather looks like it will be ok.

For those of you who didn't come, you missed out on a great day.
19 trucks in all. I think I win for the most mud flinging...

This is probably my favorite family shinny. Last time I did this it was winter, wet, cold, windy. But what a landscape.
