Tyre inflator to power air tools?

Probably a silly question, but here goes anyway. I have two sets of wheels and change them around as required for off road and on. I use "manpower" to do this task and while not lazy, have been toying with getting an air-powered rattle gun for the job. But, given this will be my only application, buying a compressor and gun seem like a steep investment.

Except...

That I do have a 150psi, 72l/min tyre pump that has a screw attachment for the tyre-end. Can these by attached (using a suitable connector) to a rattle gun? Has anyone used these for air tools or do you need more grunt?

It can be attached, but it won't have the air volume / grunt to drive the rattle gun. I use a 24v battery powered rattle gun that is designed for the task.

I guess you could probably get a 12V version too, would just need twice the current. Thanks for that.

When I use to change tyres all the time (now just have muds) I use to loosen / tighten the wheel nuts with a power bar and use my cordless drill with an adapter to put a socket on it, not as quick as a rattle gun but easier than removing the wheel nuts by hand.

I'd look at a battery powered rattle gun instead of a compressor and rattle gun, would work out cheaper, no air lines, no annoying air leaks no waiting for the air to catch up.

Hilti SIW22A best toy I bought that week. will easily do wheel nuts and you can undo and retighten over 40 of them on one charge. I tested it till I got bored.

I have one with 350fl/lb rating with two 24v batteries. Best thing I bought. Makes life so much easier. And each battery charge lasts a long time. A lot nice noise as well (compressor doesn't have to be annoying the neighbours).

probably changed complete sets of wheels about 10 times or more now and still on the first battery.

theres also a more powerful one if required, but mine loosens and tightens the wheel nuts with ease

Yea i'm surprised how long the batteries last and how much power they have compared to a air rattle gun, can just grab it and use it.

I'm a diesel mechanic by trade and I have one of the high power brushless hitachi impact guns and it's an awesome tool, My air rattle gun barely sees the light of day now.
I will have to admit that for most folks one of the milwaukee 18v lithium 1/2" gun is probably a better buy. one of the guys at work has one and it's slightly more grunty but is much bigger and heavier. it does have a longer warranty on the batteries though which I have had to replace on my hitachi gear.
I'm running my aircon pump as a compressor and have a truck air tank mounted under the floor and I still wouldn't bother trying to use an air impact gun off it.
