We had a play at the top of the Mt Olympyus ski fields yesterday.
No rivers up there, but there was some snow and it was farkin cold and wet.
Driving down part of the ski tow lane when there is no snow on it is awesome, (rocks the size of motor bikes and all loose, pucker up your butt, and hang on.... yee haa).

Niblik will no doubt post the photos when he has time.
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

I heard a little rumour that a toyota on bald tyres drove right past you in 2wd (whilst you were stuck in the hazard). But that was just a rumour

You are right, its just a rumour, like the one where a girl drove somewhere in an unknown vehicle, that a hilux/surf driver was to chicken to try last weekend.

Rumours everywhere!

Dont belive any of them!
