up for sale is my 97 tj. has been on its roof , is written off and deregesistered.
has done 143000 kms ( ish)
still drives well (I drove it home 130kms and no probs)
had a wheel alignment check and its very close (adjustable tie rod to fix)
has bent windscreen frame ( broken windsrceen)
bent front rh gaurd ,bonnet, and body (both sides behind doors)
bent passengers roll cage arm
has wear on drivers seat.
is on 235 75 15`s AT`s and standard rims(front tyres need replacing)
has a rear tyre carrier that i could sell seperate.is very strong well built. easily take a 33" althou I dont have 1 to try. has removable tow hitch
and a place for a high lift , spade and tow eyes
50mm rugged ridge lift kit
sway bar disconnects
can supply soft top ( dosnt fit at the moment cause of the windsceen)
also bent lh soft door top window
hole in muffler
can supply with tandem trailer( in the process of getting a wof)
has snorkel but has broken top vent
I was going to put back on the road but it had to be deregistered and i dont need the hassel of a revin
Probbably looking around $5000 for the jeep and $2200 for the trailer
welcome to come and look /test drive. (no wof or redg)
but it your serious we could put some muds on and get it dirty up thompsons
will be advertising it on trade me soon with photos ( none yet)
has been a great truck. done a few Pirongias,1 mamaku and hunua safaris
Even got a pick in 4x4 action.
will be sad to see it go ( or might keep it)

I have been wondering wether i should work on building it up as a club truck or just leave it for sale as is (to make it a more saleable item). Her indoors says get rid of it but im not so willing.
If i was after a club truck i would like to build my own
The question is would i get my money back on anything that i spent on it.
I.E -ditch the broken screen frame and remove the dash(or cut it down) and put in a front roll cage to replace the bent bits.
I would like to have a front screen if i were to keep and use it.but I see a lot of trucks without them.
what to do?
any suggestions?

really all you would need for a club truck is a rollcage and a front screen, wouldnt cost that much i imagine.

You could probably re-coup some costs if you sell the interior part you arnt going to use.
