Anybody been up Te Aroha side of Thompsons track lately?

Friend of mine bougth a shiny Pathfinder recently and now wants to test it out somewhere next Sunday.
Thompson should be doable even in stock Pathy in good/average conditions but has anynody been up there after all this rain?

Im keen to go if its this sunday, i just got some new mud tires wanna try them out.

We can tow each other out if we get stuck lol.

went over there a couple weeks ago for a night run, stick to the main track and you should be fine. just watch the narrow sections and take them carefully.

I'm going with him on my Safari with decent mud tyres and recovery gear so I'm fine, just a bit worried how his Pathfinder will handle few big rocks along the track.
