Hi All
Read a few threads on here and bitten the bullet have decided to get mechanical bealocks fitted to my 15x8 rims & Simex 35 x 10.5 and run them tubeless on SWB Safari.
Just wondering what tyre pressure are people running for tubeless beadlocks and how low can you go?

I run 6-10psi on a v8 hilux. approx 1.7tonne
I hate signatures

I've 35x12.5 on 8" beadlocked rims on a safari, normally 8 in the rear 10-12 in the front.
I'm loosing pressure in tyres when sitting in the shed so might pay to put some sealant on before putting together.

Dont bother with sealant, I have internal beadlocks at 50psi (they hold pressure) and the Simexs still go flat, sealed one and it didn't change things, have heard rumors Simexs Extremes leak through the side walls. All the sets i have seen go flat over a few weeks.
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

Thanks everyone for the info. Just did not want to run into problems with the inside bead. Was aiming at the 8-12 psi range so sounds like that is going to be achievable.
The rings are 36 bolt M6 and I have a small torque wrench so was going to use that for tightening up the bolts. Is that the best way and how tight/what torque do people recommend.

Use a battery drill on a very low torque setting and go round and round all the bolts and slowly pull the rings together till they are fully clamped, you may and to increase the torque setting a bit, but one bolt wont pull the rings together by themselves you'll strip the thread, not to sure what the end torque setting is I just make sure their snug and not over tight never had any problems.
