starter motor

hey guys does anyone know how much a starter motor would be for my diahatsu feroza, or does anyone have one to sell in good condition? as mine has stopped working twice in 4 months and take 45 minutes to get working again , hitting it doesnt help either

Hey - have you pulled it apart? I've just been through the same thing - 2 of the 4 brushes were knackered... $32 for a new set from the local auto sparkie, and it's alive again....

thanks jay ill pull it out this weekend and have a look , we have pulled it out before on the first time it stopped working and we noticed they were a little low
