Safari manual hubs, unlocking by them self when off roading

Post by sg8380 »

hey i have a nissan safari 1988 y60 and it has manual hubs on it. I was offroading and when i was going up a hill i heard a metal on metal grinding/clicking sound and i get out to see what it is and the hubs have turned halfway in between lock and free, any ideas why this is doing that and how to stop it?
