Re: V8 blowen coiled LN106
I completed the top of the south winch challenge 5th from 12 trucks in outlaw class and a total of 22. did well in the night stages made quickest on 1 stage then in the day stages lost my front lokka, broke my rear drive shaft
Then tried to finish in front wheel drive then smashed my front cv oops fixed the cv and shot back to town to get some drive shaft bits to weld up as a tempory then started the next stage and blew that cv again Bloody chinese crap
managed to get hold of a genuine axel and cv from Guy Griffith and made a good push to finish the day completed 12 of the 14 stages the other 2 were DNF's so happy with 5th.
Now i will be pricing up chromolly axels and cv's ( Yes Suzolla I know you have them I may be in touch)

Yea you would have loved it we needed someone there to stir Holmes

Re: V8 blowen coiled LN106
Had binding issues between the steering arm and panhard rod during winch challenge also had shakey shakey issues which i have diagnosed to being the panhard bushes to small (I think)
so i decided to upgrade the panhard rod, i had 2 ln130 rear ones so i figured i could make a spare one aswel.
So i cut the old diff mount off drilled the chassy hole out to 16mm welded the mount on to the diff slightly lower by 10mm now cleares the steering arm also moved back 5mm measured and made 2 new arms, re installed, will road test when my new 2peice drive shaft is made and installed.

Re: V8 blowen coiled LN106
Brought some 4 point harnesses so manafacturing a bar to go at shoulder height behind the seats started with cutting the pillar out to install 4mm plate
installed cross bar and middle brace
had to trim a little out of the back of the seats to let them back far enough
now all ready to install the belts, not a bad way to spend a wet night.
