pulled window motor out n old ln130 motor filled with water. pulled the internal gearing out n swapped it over into the 80 series one. the old 80 one was slogged out in the casing causing the plastic cog to wear unevenly. once the internals swapped over i now have a mint working window.

Going to get mine done too. Did you just replace the plastic internal gear? Or did you replace more internals?

So the rear left ln130 motor works with the drivers door? Do you know if that means then that the rear right motor works for the passenger door etc :?:

yes it should they work opposite. all i did was remove the gold coloured cap. remove circlip. all gearing comes out.inside u will see if the steel shaft of cog that drives the window reg has slogged out the capping that covers white plastic gear cog, mine had, so just swap it all out. if u go to the link that hippy put up all info on there or google window motor for 80 series. i found a list of all motors that will work.

if you keep killing window reg motors, buy a new window channel rubber (the piece the glass slides up and down in) in the past 4 years i've been through 4 RF reg motors (just as well they dont cost me anything) finally brought a new channel rubber for both front doors, my god what a difference, the glass slides effortless up and down now. They are approx $150 but well worth the money.
