Looking to buy a spare. Currently running Creepy Crawlers and they seem pretty good, club guys all seem to have Simex, Silverstone rated well and much cheaper. Spare will dictate what I buy when my current tyres wear out...

You set on running crossplys? That would be my first decision now that there are some good open patterns available in radials. (road manners vs tearing out sidewalls)

I have another set of road wheels and tyres that I use for the daily commute, so to be honest, road manners aren't really a concern...

Two are directional
One isnt
I would be looking at the non directional creepy for spare
Keeps things simple and you already like them

I just bought a set of Silverstone mt117x I love em
, they super super sweet in the wet stuff. soft compound though wouldn't want to catch a sharp rock
at 1400 a set well worth it. I also run a set of town tyres so that saves them alot

if you were going to spend the extra $$$, I would head down the creepy track
Re: Silverstone vs. Maxxis vs. Simes
what vehicle? anything light, Hilux or lighter I wouldn't go for Creepys. I have 35 Creepys under my Surf and it is barely heavy enough to get them to bulge flex the side wall when aired down.

Re: Silverstone vs. Maxxis vs. Simes
thing with creepers is you just need to air them down further seen they have stiffer sidewalls - just make sure u dont run wide rims with them so doesnt pop beads once aired down
