Arb question

Have a rear arb which was installed in the truck before I brought it.Stuffed wheel bearings soon after I got it on my trip home.Have spent weeks trying to figure out what's going on with my wheel bearings and someones informed me it could be that someone has set up the arb wrong.....what Id like to no is if I remove both axles should I be able see straight through the diff?Rich

It's on an 89 swb Mitsi Pajero winch truck.might have to pull out head to see what's going on :?
