hi any one had any experience with using snow chains on 33" muddies ?
am after some just for use too get too ski fields when required , any info on which too get , rough price and where from would be helpful

Get some ice breakers, they are the best you can get and they will work with 33's as I have a set that I use.. cost well depends on where but around the $250 mark I wouldn't bother with anything else on such a tyre...

We deal with these guys through work. Very good to deal with and they can custom make chains as well.

Don't get light weight ones as the chain will disappear into the tread.

i heard burnside motors wanted 360 for a pair , does that sound reasonable too you?

$360 isn't to bad, chains for 35s are around $400

Knowlesie, are you in CHCH, I have a set of used once, heavy duty ladder ice breakers to fit 33" also have extra links to make up to fit 35" $240. Give me a call 0274318993, I won't be on the computer for the next eleven days.
