Ok so I'm on the hunt again I want a 12ht complete for a reasonable price as the trusty old 2h just isn't cutting it anymore I want power going up MtHutt at 25ks is doing my head in. Has anybody got 1 lying around somewhere. I'm happy to rebuild again reasonable price Pm me if anyone can help

yeah its a 4.0 liter six cylinder turbo diesel

Why don't you just turbo it. My old 2H runs sweet as with the turbo on it.

Why don't you just turbo it. My old 2H runs sweet as with the turbo on it.

I would If I could find the bits to do it. But I'd love to port match intacool it do the cam slightly and increase the fuel by 5-8% should get me an easy healthy 160-200hp with ridiculous torque so yea would happily torbo the 2h It's under 300k on the clock and tight as a nut.

What a waste , they're up there as one of the best engines ever to be put into landcruisers. I run them in my 70's and the torque they dish out when tuned is rediculous

yea well I had a lot of 60 series bits for sale and no one wanted them. I sold all the panels in the end but no one wanted the engine parts and I had to get rid of what I had stored at work so sorry to say well you know the rest.

But on a better note I re used the 12ht turbo manifold and turbo so now I have a sweet 2H turbo . I've also in the last month striped my 60 series back to pretty much bare metal and given the old girl a coat of jam. And I must say the body bar a few dents was in excellent condition as in she was pretty much rust free bar some tiny pin head rust holes . Now just waiting for the stripes to go back on it

Just had new paint and new decals, new steering, new head lights and tail lights, Has turbo front and rear cable diff locks, wheels are coming off changing from 15x10 to 15x8

Nice but like mine enough to keep and do similar I just need the engine but you'll sell it for a good price
