1uz Alternator

im after a spare alt for my lexus v8 (1uzfe) anyone have something out there prob need to source one in the next week.

They are easy to fix.. Get a new slip ring, brush's, bearings and you're away really.. I've done mine and it's all good.. unless it's fkd..lol

Just had mine rebuilt was only $170, compared to $350 new off tardme, seem to be expensive 2nd hand too.

I also rebuild mine but its a bit hard and time consuming to do that in the middle of a winch challenge so would rather a complete unit to swap over although i do have all the bearings and brushes to do it.

If all the info was present at the beginning, Then a new alternator(second) would have been the choice for a quick swap on course..

Not catching ya here. I am asking if anyone has a Alt for sale as i need one as a SPARE, i never mentioned having problems with mine not working.
