Vulcanising A Puncture

Post by mikeyt1689 »

Read a few post on this topic but it has happened to me today and just wondering how people have gotten on with doing this and any ideas of what tyre shops to try. the usual beaurepaires or firestone etc or should i try a truck specialist.. they maxxis bighorn 764's and done less than 1000ks with them so really dont want to have to buy a new one.. also if i do have to what bout just keeping as a spare and get fixed all the same. any opinons as there always are would be apreciated cheers

check with all your local guys and see who does sidewall vulcanising in your area

it leaves a bulged sidewall generally and is therefore not up to WOF standards but can be good for a spare
