If you have had a vehicle stolen in the wellington region in resent times keep your paper work and vehicle details handy. You may get a ring.

Of course they may have been shipping the bits to wellywood from here (less chance of an owner seeing their vehicle driving round then).

Had a guy I worked with a few years ago who was in the dodgy parts business after hours (offered me some bits for cheap). He said it was all okay because insurance replaced your car and others got cheaper parts, so everyone's a winner. Told him to stay the feck away from me and my stuff or I'd knee cap him and his mates.

Couldn't believe he said it. Hit him up about it later and he denied it quickly. Might have been just bullshitting but I'm not sure... Came from the generation where everything is disposable and portable technology / video games rule.

Sure if everyone could afford insurance, and had items that were just items, but what world is that?

Wouldnt mind living there....

There is alot of pride and joy put into some vehicles, its a shame alot of people fail to see it.

But back on topic, good to see theyre starting to find them, sooner or later there will be less, surely.

Maybe when the market changes?
