89 swb hilux ute 2L petrol presently... aquired a 327 chev motor which im hoping will improve power somewhat.. anyone heard of this being done before or any feedback/advice/help would be appreciated

My mates got a 350 in his hilux, its snug but fits ok with a auto behind it

have heard aftermarket engine mounts and even bellhousings etc are available of the shelf..my lux runs a 5 spd celica box apparently.. is this true?? did he stick with the chev auto ? thanks

Not quite on topic, but had a 302 windsor in my old LN130. Went with standard box ok. Axles broke first :oops: Did 3 axles in 4 months. Seems doing 2nd gear burnouts on 32x11.5 rubber is hard on them. :lol:
But I was only 17.

Marks Adaptors in Aus do kits. No idea what they are like though.
