Hi everyone I have an option on a 4.6 motor which would replace the 3.5 in my 110 . the query is ;can I change it back a to dizzy hei of course as it is going into a manual lt 95 box and i am not sure if the timing wheel will fit my flywheel . I am hoping the timing cover is like a 3.9 with dizzy hole blanked off I cannot get to check as motor is up on hoist and surrounded in workshop crap for a few weeks .
I hope to run on lpg mainly as an easy conversion and perhaps mega squirt for petrol . the the gbox is a euro spec model with ultra high transfers which drops 100kat 3100rpm standard down to about 2400 at 100ks but you need more power for the hills around here.
my preferred option is a 304 commie motor but then i am into adapters etc
does any out there have a chev adapter to put me out of my misery .
cheers nick

Re: 4.6 hse to 110
Do you need 3.9 or 3.5 as I have plenty of 3.5 parts but not front drive oil pumps

Re: 4.6 hse to 110
basicly di u want v belts or serpintine belts is about the size of weather u use 3.5 or 3.9. i was looking in to a 4.6 to a lt95 box and sort out the triger wheel for the coils but in all reality the link i posted is full of info and they recon go back to dizzy for simpleisity. On that link it has just about every rover mod and how it works with real numbers

Re: 4.6 hse to 110
Hi guys thanks for the link , answers all my questions . I have a good 87 donor motor 145ks only worn lifters and cam so now I have to decide weather to take the gamble on a running 4.6 with possible later block issues at least it wont be working as hard as a 3.5 in my 110 flat deck truck I will keep you informed.
