Expressions of interest Selling Bar work Prado KZJ78 Photo's

Post by kbushnz »

Hi Yah All
In the process of planning the exo caging to the playdoh.
As a result the original bar work I made some years ago will be up for sale. So before it goes on Trademe I thought it would fire it out there if anyone is interested in them.
So what's for sale...
Front bar with plate for a Warn XD9000i (or mod for another winch)
Side bars (bolt around chassis)
And rear bar wrap around corners.
Also may include removable tow hitch / recover hook mount.
I haven't considered a price as yet... But don't expect a fire sale
If you are keen drop me a PM...
Probably Auckland based buyers as they would be bulky / heavy to ship.
But not to say I can't take them to a depot...

Will post pics later, but some of you will know my truck...(off to work now)
NOTE the electric winch could be thrown in for a good price....minus rope.

Cheers
Calvin

Calvin, any chance of photos of how the side bars clear the exhaust on the drivers side, or have you moved the pipe from the factory location?

That side has the front bar with curve in it to clear the exhsust. Mine has a 3inch system and before that factory so it fits. Can take photos later today

A pic would be great, also can you hi lift off them, in the pics it looks like the jack foot would come in contact with the body. I know distance is an issue but I may be keen $$$ dependent.

No you can't get a hilift on the side bars.. I have two hole locations on the rear bar and also use the front bar for the hilift....
Will try and get a photo now... Stand by !
Here it is.

Still interested in the side bars if you have a chance to get a shipping price.
And what do you want for them?

No 1/4 chop.... The bar was made when factory... but I have put in a small 20mm lift (dont ask) and lifted the bar work up, as you can see with the cutout for the tow reciever.
If going back on a std truck, some holes on the barwork may need moving as I think I either filled them with bog or welded them up....Cant recall..
