Hi,
I have a spot of rust in the A Pillar by door hinges, got a quote but to try and save some money I want to try and remove the front guards.
Searching around I cannot find anything on how to do this.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

4 bolts along top, one under panel above bonnet.
3 (or 4) along front of guard behind park light and bumper, easiest to remove bumper which are 2 or 3 bolts in through wheel well, infront of steering box.
3 along back of guard, 2 have to open door to get at, one is down on sill.
Remember to disconnect indicators, park lights and aerial.

Before you get to carried away, inspect up under dash where fire wall joins side panel, and all seems around that area. You will have to pull sound deadening stuff out the way, awkward, but worth checking. If it's bad, follow seem down and check under carpet, may not be worth paying someone to repair especially if job is bigger than originally thought
If you break it... build it stronger.
