Dual cases and what ones to look for

Post by passengerpete »

just after some info on the toyota transfer cases there seems to be a 21 spline and the 23 spline is the spline the only difference ? i assume the 23 spline is stronger ? if going in a duel case seriniro do both need to be 21s and 23s or can they be mixed one 21 and 23 i imagine they would need to be the same but just asking anyway. and what year did toyota start using the chain type transfer ? is the geared type the better one to have ? and one last question the chassis code for the better cases ln65 ? or LN what ever it gos up to. cheers
