Anybody been on the Kati side of the track lately? Going up Te Aroha side on the weekend, wondering if we can make it down the Kati side without drowning the petrols
Two or three decent trucks on 33s muddies one with PTO but no barwork around

Yeah I haven't been up for a couple of years, but would think you are asking for trouble with only one winch. We had three winch between two trucks and used them all.

was up saturday and went about 4 km down the kati side... from what i saw 1 winch and 33's = a very long weekend. dude i was with stuck his nose up from the kati side a couple of weeks ago in his saf on 35's, winch and barwork and he turned around and went home... but then maybe he was a bit of a wuss

swb can turn around easy enough (3 pt turn) coming down from the TA side at finger rock, took a 5pt turn last time down with my ex-Grand Cherokee.
