LD28T Specialist
Can any recommend a Diesel Turbo specialist either on the North Shore or Auckland familiar with Defender LD28's? Have an unburnt fuel issue! Much appreciated.

Steady on there, before I pulled a motor down for blowing a bit of black smoke, I would be checking for intake blockage (air filter), turbo function if its an ld28t, injector pump adjustment, injector performance and valve adjustment.

Re: LD28T Specialist
fair enough call. but on the basis that diesel burns on compression the only other one to figure would be a bad valve which would be a pull down job anyway.

Alltech, dude. Wairau Road. Bloody good at that sort of thing and they have their own workshop which is not that common for a fuel specialist.
Cheers,
