it has no body lift.
top mount requires cutting bonnet.
top mounts suck performance wise.
its more of a shiny than a mud truck.

Got the wheels on, got a 33 for a spare.
Found out 33s don't really fit under hiluxs too well..

Got my new 20's with tyres today for the hilux. Stoked with the way it looks. Also got it lowered 2", but I need to take out the air shocks in the rear and put standard shocks in so it sits lower. Front should settle a bit lower too in a week or so. :D :D

You guys reaalise this is the non 4x4 related stuff?

Phraza's on to it though lol

Picked up the other two ride on lawnmowers, going to put all the good stuff from my old one onto one that has a catcher, and twin blade deck, then the other one with no deck has got a 15hp Tecumseh engine, just got it wired up and started making a silencer for it (its farken sharp on the ears without it)

if only it was as eay working on a 4x4 as it is to work on a ride on that you can strip it down to the chassis by undoing 8-12 bolts.....

Tried going up napolean hill the hard way up with the west coast 4wd community, didnt quite make it, but it has been my first real 4wd experience, played in mud, got stuck mid hill, and whinched, and towed, and almost drowning the truck in two occasions, chain sawing a massive log in our way, diving in dark, it was amazing, will do a post with pics.

Peace

yeah man.
Had it for ages. Haven't used it for around 3 years aside from doing my bro's wedding a couple of years ago so figure it's time to sell the old girl.
Doubled it's mileage in my time of ownership. Taken it all over the place. been damn reliable too considering it used it as my daily driver for most of my ownership too (used to go between welly and fielding/welly and newplymouth every week in the thing.
great cars.

hah, yeah been there with mine. had millions of rust in the sills but aside of that there's bugger all in it (scared of lifting the roof though, however I've got a mint set of roof rails to stitch in if required).
got a broken ring though so trying to sort another engine for it which aint easy being a super early one :?

any details on your old boy's one?
not a late front white one per chance, based up Auckland ways?
