DIY wheel alignment

Post by GotFlex »

Because I'm wanting to adjust torsions at home soon ill need to do a quick wheel alignment until I can get into the shop
Can anyone school me on how to do it?
I was going to to setup two boards and lean against the front wheels and measure the top and bottom in front of the boards and behind the board so all measurements are the same?
Maybe some has a better trick?

I did it by eye on my terrano till i could get into town to get it done.

Wasnt very hard at all, i used two boards like you have said, measured everything up square, then adjusted to suit.

Wheel alignment guy said it was pretty darn close and only needed some fine adjustments.

Must have fluked it
