1, start the vehicle

2, turn the headlights on to park

3, walk round the front of the vehicle

4, look back at the vehicle

5, look at the very centre of the grille

6, theres lies the issue

Check fuses first ten remove the left indicator/ light switch stoke and clean the contacts inside the tumbler switch. Might just be coincidence since u fiddled with the head lights.

I'm cracking up the Land Rover jokes haha. Imagine if Toyota or Nissan were good enough to qualify for the Camel trophy ...........they would be stopping for Latte's and power rooms. Har har

Just shows how little you know. Only a toy-mota owner would find a badge in the centre of the grill.
Lands Rover being a bit more refined has the badge elsewhere.

When you had the headlights did you connect the park light bulbs back in? They are separate to the main light plug below and to the side of the main beam light plug. Often people tend to forget them or break the connectors.

checked all the fuses. look ok, but old. might replace some of them
same with the bulb, looks intact, but look old, so might replace them while im at it.
the park bulb was pluged in, so im back to the drawing board.

If you have a multi meter, even a crappy $10 one, check for voltage at the park bulb holder and then check the resistance of each bulb to make sure they are okay.

Most systems don't have a park only fuse, they are usually off the same circuit as the headlights or indicators. If everything else is working then it's likely to be an earth issue or blown bulbs.

Cheers
Matt.
