Safari Exo cage

Post by rotordogg »

Looking at helping a mate with a exo cage for his safari, he's sick of replacing panels but doesn't want to slow down to much  He already has a proper internal cage, so exo is just for protecting panels...

I'm used to using 250 grade 32mm bore med wall, as per trials rules.
happy with the OD size (too small looks whimpy) of this, but is it overkill for exo? is there a cheaper alternative that isn't to weak?

Dogg.
It's just more fun in a lada !!

My last exo was built using the same pipe. And the exo/hybrid on my current project is same again. In my opinion you want something heavyish as the exo will take regular knocks. Seeing as you all ready have the internal cage you could use seamed pipe in the same size. Still bends nice but costs less.
