Best Auto transmission Fluid for jeep Cherokee

Going to do my Cherokees Transmission fluid.
What is the best to get without going to the main agents.

Whats wrong with going to the main dealer for ATF? They are reasonable for buying oils from (or at least in Auckland they are).

What year? What model?
