You mean unbolted them....
I have unbolted the whole unit but now its stuck half hanging against the sump.
Cant drop the front cross member as I cant get two of the bolts out (stuck behind lower arm/torsion bar end)
I was thinking about unbolting the engine and jacking it straight up but then that would tip it at a angle.
I thought this would be easy

a gas axe would cut it out quite easily

if u lower the height by the torsion bars so it is sitting on its arse, removed the 3 nuts on the spline end of torsion bar which i guess is the ones u cant get out. slide the cover back over the torsion bar and drop them right out.

Awww it took me ages to think of it!!!

Re: AGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of the four bolts that hold crossmember in, two can't be removed
. Easiest way to remove diff is to cut these suckers (just enough room to get angle grinder in there). Then get two new bolts and fit them from front ensuring there's enough clearance at back for suspension not to foul.
I took sibainmuds advice here, and its definately worth while. Means you can remove at later date without hassles too
Cheers,
Nath

Sounds like a great idea to me!!! the ones that sit behind the arms have been cross threaded so were a pain in the ass to get off.
Will keep you up dated on how I go as I want to replace some other bolts due to rust/damage.

this is exactly what i did so i could get the motor out to do the clutch...would be real great if you could just undo the front body mounts and lift the body like a bonnet haha
