Post by Waddles »

Hi lads has anyone had any dealings with these things http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/caravan ... 620764.htm

I bought one and one of the wires has come off the chip  hadn't even put it in my truck! I have rung the fella and he sad he will refund me/swap for one the same. which is all well and good just wondering if any 1 else has any feed back on them should i get 1 the same or buy a different 1?

Looks like you are a cheap arse like me  I bought a similar one around the same price, and it's built like a POS. But, what should I have expected? Get what you pay for

brought a 5a one to run headunit as it came with the constant feed as well as acc. $18, works mint. prob one of these in the near future to run an amp and handheld spotty later on, 30a for $60, also does 60a ones. Guy was great to deal with.

I bought a 30A from another trader, and got the wrong one sent. He ran out of the one I purchased, so bought one of the 30A units in the above link for me.
These have an acc input, but no acc output wire :? Was yours the same?

nope mine has acc, constant power and earth in and out, but only the 5a and the 10a have those wires which is why i didnt go for a 30a one and run everything off it - he had no 10s left so I settled for the 5 and seems to run a newish jvc headunit and 4 6 inch speakers fine so im happy... its only been in for a day so far though.

the acc in is prob to turn the unit on?
