diahatsu rugger wreaking. i have two im wreaking
BROWN RUGGER early 80s model
#body is full of rust.
#has good diffs
#has good transfer case
#gear box is a bit sad. will not change down from 3rd to 2nd
#motor runs sweet. its a 2.7 turbo diesel.
#has a slippy clutch and lost all brakes
offers on all parts or buy it as a hole
BLUE RUGGER late 80s model with square headlights
#no motor or box
#has diffs
#tidy body
offers on all parts

that gearbox on the brown one maybe ok. On mine the nylon bush the gear lever sat in fell apart which stopped it from changing from 1st to 2nd and from 3rd to 2nd. Replaced it and was sweet as.

Could also be that the big nut on the output shaft has loosened off causing shifting issues with second gear. Quite a common fault and a major pain in the ass when the shaft breaks while sorting it out (as I found out).

yep taz gave me a ring the other day to sort out parts he wants. cheers guys for the info will look into that gearbox problem

. will take some more photos in the weekend and will check ks on brown rugger and post up

Where did you get a new bush from?

didn't. Took pieces out and used it as is. Worked sweet as. Guy I sold it to had no issues with it either till he blew transfer case apart.
