First problem steering damper is f**kd ,
Second is the leafs could do with a reset,
Third shocks are fucked
Fourth open diffs ;-)

In short has cert re on hold and wof what is it worth it's a 1985 with some good points

35 15x10 creepy crawlies beedlocks
Custom bar work
Ac has been turnd into a compresser with a tank in the rear.

Don't waste ya time resetting the leaves as they will fail again.. get some new ones OME as they are the best for this truck..I would even go and put my neck on the line to say they would be the next thing apart from coils.. While ya at it get some OME shocks and it'll ride like it's on coils.. make sure you grease them properly tho
Been there done that..

My 2c

Check for rust around gutters , being an 85 its proberly got some , if it doesn't then thats amazing. It'l really depend on how its been treated .
270kms are all good for one of these , just run in. When you say 'BJ70' that would indicate 3B but you say the boost has been wound up , so is it a B J71 with 13BT? or is it 3B+T
Steering dampner stock? You'd be hard pushed to find one thats still factory that isn't nackered at this age. No biggie to replace
Don't bother resetting leaves , they just sag out again. When they reset them , a leaf is usually added that futher stiffens them up. SUA leafs are usually quite stiff as it is
Either buy new springs ( what big said) or coil it
Shocks again no biggie to replace but allow $500-1000 depending on what brand you go with
Open diffs will suck ( been there )
Cert and 35's are a plus , how much tread left on 35s?
Onboard air is another +

35s are about about 75% and how much does it cost to coil it roughly as I have , I don't have much info on the landcruisers rust in the right hand arch not to bad apparently . I'm looking at cough locking the rear diff and LSD the front I'm swapping my crashed rx8 for it so I'm

By the sounds of it unless it has like a hidden God winch somewhere its not worth 10K

Maybe 4-7K depending on actual condition without pics its hard to say whats a fair value. You look on trademe and see what you can get for 10K and this Cruiser doesn't seem to match those specs
For example there was a guy selling a MWB 70 a while back on TM for 9.5K that had Air lockers , regeared diffs, spring over conversion, PTO winch fully rebuilt , 13BT , new ish 35's etc etc etc had sunk a fair bit of coin/time into it , fully certed/reg/wof'd too

If your not in a rush , look around . 10K can get you a fair decent 70 series

If you do want a quote for coils , contact Tom ( Tomsoffroad) he'l be able to give you options/prices on different set ups, 3link/5link etc etc

Thanks for the Info guys, been looking around and there seem like there's lots of little parts floating around for them.

First port of call is the steering damper .

Then the leafs/shocks I see you guys recomend ome who's the stockist for them in chch? What are they going to sting me roughly? And I was thinking about doing the coil conversion on my surf but it was abit costly so I think I'll leave that one.

Then those bloody open diffs , been looking on tard me and but i can't seem to find a LSD . I know the prices ECT of arb , lokkers spartons ECT what do you guys suest?I have herd Toyota LSD loses their tightness nice and quick . Would a stick of wield in the rear and maybe a LSD inthe front be something to think about?
