hay whats up been a while since i been on and can't wait to get back out playing with the boys but need some advice i went to look at a 84 safari that was in real good nic but the guy said that he put it into 4 hi to pull some out and he heard a noise and now he can't get it into 2 hi would this be a bad thing and not touch it are would it be somthing simple cus they probly lots to fix and if anyone is doing a project and need help i wouldn't mind coming and helping out if i'm able to get in just want to learn more about 4 wheel drives never worked on much of them before just cars but thanks will chat with yous later

is it a 4 speed or 5 speed? and does it have a divorced Tcase?

the non divorced transfer case has a lockout so it cant be in low and 2wd, this plays up occasionally in my g60 , deadblow hammer , and crc could fix it easy
